The Bay Hotel boasts in-house venues to suit every occasion imaginable, from the gracious dome-shaped Rotunda that can accommodate up to 500 people, to the boardroom, perfect for a breakfast meeting with a few colleagues. Bringing their client’s vision to life, Camps Bay Events, The Bay Hotel’s events management team, have hosted everything from glittering parties to flawless weddings. If you can dream it, they can do it, with a touch of magic and oodles of style and pizzazz.

The Boardroom
The Boardroom is ideal should you be looking for a conference venue in Camps Bay. It is furnished with trapezoid-shaped tables that allow for a wide variety of room set-ups.

These can range from small groupings of six for a very comfortable breakfast seminar, to the basic boardroom and U-shape meeting styles. The boardroom is also suitable for small cocktail functions, intimate breakfasts and lunch functions. A minimum of 10 guests will be charged for due to size and capacity of the venue. The room can accommodate 14 pax in a U-shape style, 20 in a schoolroom style and 30 pax in a cinema style.

Conference Room
The Conference Room, at The Bay Hotel, is a particularly versatile meeting area, suitable for a small wedding reception, a larger cocktail function or seminar.
The furnishings in the Conference Room are comfortable and functional with a built-in cocktail bar and fireplace to take the chill out of winter occasions. Due to its proximity to hotel rooms, the Conference Room is better suited to quieter events. The maximum seat configuration in a boardroom style is 30, in a schoolroom style is 40, cocktail events can accommodate 60 and in a cinema style, 120 pax.

The Rotunda
The gracious Rotunda’s high-ceilinged expanse provides flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of functions such as product launches, cocktail parties, fashion shows, weddings, barmitzvahs, banquets and dinner dances. It is also a popular conference and exhibition venue.

Adjoining The Bay Hotel, this majestic dome-shaped structure has played host to more than one hundred years of successful social and corporate gatherings. Built in 1904, The Rotunda hosted the crème de la crème of Victorian society. Today, the building blends the architectural splendour of the Victorian Age, with the latest technological conveniences.
